The advantages and main uses of chipboard

2025-04-01 10:31:51

Chipboard, also known as particle board, is produced by compressing wood residues—such as branches, small-diameter timber, and fast-growing wood—into uniform particles of specific dimensions. After drying and mixing with adhesives, hardeners, and water repellents, these particles are bonded under high temperature and pressure to form a wood-based panel with a non-uniform particle arrangement. Its uniform structure ensures excellent machinability, allowing for large-format wood production tailored to diverse furniture specifications. The finished product does not require secondary drying and boasts superior acoustic properties.
